When updating Veeam Server, the following error message occurred when trying to update the proxies:
Failed to upgrade host components. Error: ‘ExecCommand [/opt/veeam/transport/veeamtransport] [–install 6666] has exited with code: [255], message: [] Failed to invoke rpc command ‘
The solution was to restart the services, as the Veeam Transport service was “stuck” in the proxy.
